What makes a great Doberman?
Many breeders, if not all responsible breeders feel they breed the better Doberman. If they didn't they really should question what are they doing at all. Our intent is not to demean the great efforts of many other breeders who have done excellent work. It is the opinion of many breeders as well as myself that the time for restoration has come. That said our hopes are to do our small part in improving this noble majestic beast. It really all comes down to what type of dog you want. I have never seen a "bad doberman" each dog has it's credits and it's short comings. There are many variations physical and in temperament. Our experience in owning many different types of dobes, we feel has given us an insight into what I would consider to be and am building into our breeding program a fresh new approach.
